BBC Sport is reporting that Premier League champions are set to complete deals for Riyad Mahrez and Jorginho.
The Citizens have no intention of resting on their laurels after lifting the league title, but rather plan to further reinforce the squad over the summer.
BBC Sport has learned that Napoli playmaker Jorginho is set to join in a £42 million move, with his agent yesterday confirming the deal was close.
The 26-year-old has performed admirably for the Azzurri over the last couple of years and also broke into the Italy national team after switching his allegiance from Brazil.
At the same time, Manchester City look set to sign long-term target Riyad Mahrez, who will arrive in a £60 million move from Leicester City.
The Algerian was angry with the Foxes for denying him a chance to move to Etihad Stadium in January, but the Citizens made sure to make things right in the summer transfer window.
