Man United considering Bartra bid

Premier League super club Manchester United have already put in their application to become winners of the January transfer window, courtesy of their stunning swap deal with Arsenal that brought Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are not finished there however, and Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra could be the next man to join Sanchez in a United shirt, according to the Metro.

Bartra is in just his second season with Dortmund having made the move from Barcelona in 2016, but he has quickly established himself as one of Europe’s top centre halves. With two goals and an assist from 12 Bundesliga appearances during this campaign, the Spaniard also presents a remarkable attacking threat.

Strangely enough the centre back has struggled to make the starting XI for much of this season, and now Dortmund are set to move him on. Manchester United already represent the best defensive side in the Premier League, and the addition of Bartra would certainly make them even stingier at the back.
