Manchester United have beaten Arsenal and Liverpool to the signature of Cardiff midfielder Aaron Ramsey, it seems. A statement on Manchester United’s official website said that the club has agreed a fee with Cardiff and that the transfer will be completed once the player agrees to personal terms and passes a medical.
The statement said: “Manchester United is delighted to announce it has agreed terms with Cardiff City for the transfer of Aaron Ramsey subject to contract terms being agreed and the player passing a medical.”
However there is a possibility that Ramsey will not be at United next season after the possibility that he will be loaned back to Cardiff was raised by Goal.com. His signature will delight many fans nonetheless since he is thought to be one of the most promising young talents in British football.

Got something to say?

i don’t know how good this ramsey guy really is, so no comments atm.. but the fact that m.u beat both arsenal and liverpoool to it really makes me feel good
Ahh, the pleasure of knowing that Man Utd are busy eating their hats right now is a wee bit of salve for losing the title. After boasting on their own website that they were so close to the deal, it was such a joy seeing the official Man Utd website saying they were “snubbed”.
Something about “he who laughs last”…
