Man Utd eyeing Benfica’s Talisca

Premier League giants Manchester United have joined the race to sign Benfica midfielder Talisca, according to Milliyet.

The Red Devils boss has been keeping close tabs on the Brazilian for quite some time and he has decided to try and bring him to Old Trafford.

Talisca has been loaned to Besiktas, who have the option to make his transfer permanent, so chances are that Man Utd will be negotiating with the Turkish side rather than Benfica.

And it would appear as though the Black Eagles are ready to do business with the Red Devils as they are keen on signing Juan Mata.

Talisca, 23, is a goalscoring midfielder who has shown a great deal of promise since arriving to Europe from Bahia in July 2014, scoring no fewer than 32 goals since.

Arsenal are also believed to be showing interest in the attacking midfielder, but it remains to be seen whether they will make their move any time soon.
