Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester United are considering a January bid for Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos.
The Red Devils have suffered a serious dip in form after winning their first four games of the new season and they are in problems following three straight defeats.
As a result, manager Jose Mourinho appears to be already searching for winter reinforcements and his former player Sergio Ramos is reportedly high on the wish list.
The Portuguese manager believes that Ramos is still one of the leading central defenders in European football and he hopes to get reunited with the Spain international at Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United plan to offer €50 million for the experienced centre-back.
It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will be prepared to negotiate the sale, but the player himself has flirted with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu in the past and was linked with a switch to Old Trafford on several occasions.
