Man Utd in pole position for Danny Rose

Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester United have emerged as favourites to land England left-back Danny Rose.

The Red Devils are keen on bringing the full-back to Old Trafford and it appears that the player is very interested in becoming a part of Jose Mourinho’s squad.

Daily Mirror claims that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is already on the lookout for a new left-sided defender.

Rose missed the end of last season through a knee injury and the Argentine boss doesn’t think he will be ready for the start of the new campaign.

However, the 26-year-old has performed admirably over the last few years and it is hardly surprising Manchester United have been hot on his trail.

Danny Rose had joined Spurs from Leeds United back in 2007 and went on to make 108 Premier League appearances for the White Hart Lane outfit.
