Man Utd, PSG battle for James Rodriguez

Spanish daily newspaper Don Balon has suggested that Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are vying for the signature of Real Madrid starlet James Rodriguez.

The Colombian has suffered a serious dip in from after impressing during his debut season, and he is being heavily linked with a summer exit.

Considering that new coach Zinedine Zidane does not see the 24-year-old as an important member of his side for the 2016/2017 campaign, the player is hoping to leave los Blancos at the end of the season.

According to reports from Spain, his agent Jorge Mendes will offer both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain an opportunity to recruit his client, but it remains to be seen how his current employers will react.

James Rodriguez has scored 7 goals in 23 La Liga outings this season, but he has been left out of the starting line-up in important games of late.
