Man Utd to terminate Valdes’ contract

The Daily Mail has suggested that Manchester United may be prepared to allow Victor Valdes to leave the club on a free transfer.

The Spanish goalkeeper has a deal until the end of the season, but his first team opportunities are very limited following the clash with manager Louis van Gaal.

The club chiefs would prefer not to have any altercations in the squad now that Manchester United have finally climbed to the Premier League summit and they are ready to propose Vlades a mutual termination of his contract.

Even so, the Red Devils do not want to see the former Barcelona star join any of their top 4 rivals, and will probably include a clause to prevent that from happening.

This is enough to suggest that the end of the nightmare spell with Manchester United is in sight for the goalkeeper who definitely did not deserve such a treatment.
