Competition: Capital One Cup
Market: Man City to win the cup
Odds: 11/10 @ Ladbrokes

Manchester City recently booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup with a 5-1 win against Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night, and are now in pole position to go all the way given the sides that bowed out on the same day. Arsenal and Manchester United followed Chelsea through the exit door of the Capital One Cup, which now means City and Liverpool are the top sides left in the competition in the final eight.

The Sky Blues have blown teams away in the cup so far, thrashing Sunderland 4-1 in the third round, coupled with their comprehensive win over Palace, and they have scored 11 goals in their last three Premier League outings too. Manuel Pellegrini’s side are in great shape for success this season, and are certainly gunning for silverware wherever possible. City won the 2014 Capital One Cup final en route to claiming the Premier League title, and this season appears to be going in the same manner.

With Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United out of the competition, Manchester City don’t have many other teams to worry about in their pursuit to go all the way in the cup. As a result, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 11/10 for the 2014 winners and current Premier League leaders to win this season’s Capital One Cup following such a bright campaign so far.
