Steven N’Zonzi’s flying form at Sevilla has not gone unnoticed as Europe’s top clubs line up behind the 28-year-old French international.
Sevilla midfielder became a key player for his club under the guidance of Rojiblancos new head coach Jorge Sampaoli and the likes of Juventus, Chelsea, Barcelona, Everton and Arsenal have all been linked with a towering Congo-born.
The latest club to join the race for N’Zonzi are Manchester City, who are reportedly keen to offer Sevilla an enticing swap deal in order to bring N’Zonzi to the Etihad Stadium.
According to Spanish media outlet AS, Pep Guardiola is a keen admirer of N’Zonzi’s talents and is willing to make a deal with Sevilla which would include swapping Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas for the 28-year-old N’Zonzi.
Samir Nasri is currently on loan at Sevilla, where he impressed in his early days with the Spanish club. The French international is unlikely to return to Manchester City and Guardiola wants to include him in a deal.
N’Zonzi’s transfer fee is thought to be around £28 million.
