Manchester City join race for Wilfried Zaha

Wilfried Zaha has been the shining light in what has been a difficult season for Crystal Palace thus far. Thankfully the addition of new manager Roy Hodgson has turned the Eagles’ form around of late, and it is little surprise that the upturn has coincided with the good form of the Ivorian international.

His impressive exploits have begun to turn the heads of many of the Premier League’s top sides, and both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the winger in the past few weeks. The latest team to join the race for Zaha’s signature however is Manchester City, according to the Guardian, as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Zaha grabbed seven goals and nine assists last season, and has already netted three times in nine appearances during this campaign. City meanwhile have scored 56 goals in 18 games this season and lead the league by 11 points, so the addition of the Ivorian would only elevate their squad even further.
