Manchester City keen on Willems

Metro has suggested that Manchester City are readying summer bid for PSV Eindhoven hotshot Jetro Willems.

The squad at Etihad are likely to undergo a major overhaul in the summer, with one of Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov likely to leave.

As a result, Roberto Mancini is searching for a new left-sided defender and Metro claims that PSV Eindhoven star Jetro Willems is at the top of his hit-list.

The 19-year-old is widely regarded as one of the most talented full-backs in European football and he has already earned no less than 8 Netherlands caps.

Willems has a contract until June 2016 at Philips Stadium, but recently confessed that he would be keen on a move to the Premiership.

PSV Eindhoven value the player at £6 million, although it is believed they would consider a swap deal for John Guidetti, who set the Eredivisie alight with his showings during a loan spell at Feyenoord.
