Manchester City linked with Ligue 1 goal-machine

English Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly readying January bid for Lyon hotshot Alexandre Lacazette, according to Le Progres.

The Citizens have just completed a £28 million deal for Wilfried Bony, but it appears they could add another forward to their ranks with Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko being linked with a winter exit.

Le Progres has learned that Manchester City are prepared to offer around €32 million for Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.

The striker, who is also believed to be on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain, has quickly developed into one of the best forwards in the country.

Lacazette has been in scintillating form this season, bagging a total of 19 goals in just 20 league outings.

At the moment, les Gones chariman Jean-Michel Aulas remains adamant he will not sell, but with the club going through serious financial difficulty, the Lyon chief may change his mind in the future.
