And while long-term admirers Juventus remain keen on his services, the latest reports suggest Manchester City have joined the race as well.
The Citizens could stay without Yaya Toure in the simmer and they apparently see the Italian as a perfect long-term replacement.
Paris Saint-Germain will not be too keen on selling their prized asset, but they would probably consider a substantial offer for his services.
