Manchester rivals vying for Bernardo Silva

French media outlet Le 10 Sport understands that Manchester United and City are the remaining two clubs locked in the race for AS Monaco star Bernardo Silva.

Red Devils and Citizens appear to be the only ones left in the final laps of the chase for the 22-year-old Portugal international who’s been an integral part of outstanding Monaco this term.

Silva has made 54 appearances in all competitions for the Principality club this season and has contributed to his team’s exploits with 10 goals and 12 assists.

He’s been constantly linked with a move away from AS Monaco over the past few months and Real Madrid were also believed to be one of the interested parties, but Los Blancos have cooled their interest of late.

The Portugal international has over three years left in his contract with AS Monaco, who are expected to demand a significant transfer fee if they are to let one of their key assets leave this summer.
