Manchester United 1/6 to beat Brighton in Saturday’s Premier League game

Competition: Premier League

Market: Manchester United to beat Brighton

Odds: 1/6 @ Bet365

The Premier League continues this weekend with another hugely important round of games. Manchester City seem invincible at the top of the table, but for the other 19 teams in the league, pretty much anyone can beat anyone else. With this in mind, Brighton travel to Old Trafford to face a Manchester United side that have been in inconsistent form of late.

Manchester United have been enjoying a good season as they look to return to the summit of English football. After 12 games they have won eight times, drawn twice and lost twice, yielding 26 points so far. Of course, they are eight points shy of Manchester City at the top, but they seem to be the best-placed side to challenge their inter-city rivals, and Jose Mourinho will be counting on the incredibly competitive nature of the Premier League to force City into dropping some points along the way. However, they themselves will need to be far more consistent, as they have won just two of their last five games.

Brighton have also been enjoying a very good season so far. Four wins, four draws and four defeats have seen them accumulate 16 points, meaning they are just six points short of Liverpool and a Europa League spot. Of course, their objective will be survival, but their fans will be enjoying the purple patch in their season. In their last five games they are unbeaten, winning twice and drawing three times, and they look like a very tough proposition to play against. Despite their form, we are backing the home side to win with odds of 1/6 from Bet365.
