Manchester United agree Diogo Dalot deal

Portuguese news outlet Abola is reporting that Premier League giants Manchester United have a deal in place to sign FC Porto teenager Diogo Dalot.

The two sides are said to have already reached an agreement with Dalot expected to be formally announced as the new Manchester United player this week.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly identified the 19-year-old Porto sensation as the natural successor of Antonio Valencia and is willing to fork out £17.5 million in order to trigger his release clause and secure his services this summer.

Dalot is described as one of the brightest Portuguese prospects who can fill in a number of positions.

The member of the Portugal Under-16 and Under-17 sides who won the European Championship for the past two years, Diogo Dalot can operate in the midfielder as well as at right-back, which was his primary position under Sergio Conceicao.
