Manchester United eyeing Mane move

Manchester United have been linked with a shock move to sign Southampton forward Sadio Mane, according to the Mail Online.

The Red Devils have turned their attention to the Senegal international after dropping their interest in Barcelona’s Pedro, who himself looks set to secure a move to Premier League champions Chelsea.

Mane only moved to St Mary’s Stadium twelve months ago, but impressed in his debut season in England with ten goals in thirty league appearances – a haul that included the fastest ever hat-trick in the divisions history which came in a 6-1 win over Aston Villa in the penultimate game on the campaign.

He is already off the mark this season having scored in the Europa League 3rd Qualifying Round second leg win over Vitesse earlier this month.

The former Red Bull Salzburg and Metz man has also been capped twenty-two times for his country, and has scored six international goals.
