Manchester United in for Aubameyang

Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Metro.

The Gabon international has been in stunning form for the Bundesliga outfit this season, scoring thirty-three goals in thirty-eight appearances in all competitions while he is just one behind former Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski in the race for the German top flight’s Golden Boot.

Arsenal are also interested in securing the services of the twenty-six year old, who moved to Dortmund from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2013.

Aubameyang began his career with Serie A giants AC Milan but never played for them, gaining his game time in loan spells with Dijon, Lille and Monaco before securing a permanent move away from the San Siro in December 2011.

Louis van Gaal’s side lost to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon and are now three points behind neighbors Manchester City, who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
