Manchester United in surprise Costa link

Manchester United could be set to make a shock move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to the Metro.

Jose Mourinho, the man who brought Costa to England in the summer of 2014, is the hot favourite to be in charge at Old Trafford next season and is eyeing a potential reunion.

Costa has made headlines for both the right and wrong reasons since moving to the Premier League but it his goalscoring prowess that will be the only thing on United fans’ minds with Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial tied as their top scorers in the league so far this season with just seven each.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Costa has racked up seventy-one appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-five times while he had an almost as impressive gaols to games ratio at previous club Atletico Madrid, who have also been linked with a move to secure his services.
