Manchester United keen on West Ham starlet

Daily Mail has suggested that Manchester United plan to try and snatch West Ham youngster Reece Oxford.

The 15-year-old has already been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, but the Red Devils appear to have moved to the front of the queue.

Manchester United officials believe Oxford has the potential to become a world-class player and they are keen to lure him to Old Trafford at the earliest opportunity.

The talented footballer is already playing for West Ham Under-21 side, while he was on the Hammers bench in the Capital One Cup clash against Sheffield United.

Oxford has captained England Under-17 side, and it appears it won’t be long before he makes his first senior appearance for the club.

It is, therefore, hardly surprising that England’s top clubs are keen on his services, but Manchester United, who are 13/20 to beat Everton later today, appear to have the upper hand at the moment.
