Manchester United make Maguire approach

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have officially approached Leicester City regarding the possible transfer of defender Harry Maguire. The 25-year-old has been on the Red Devils’ radar ever since his sensational performances at the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer, with Maguire being one of the key factors behind England’s run all the way to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Maguire would likely be one of the club’s biggest defensive signings in years given his age and the hype surrounding him, although the question remains as to whether or not he wants to stay with the Foxes for another year as they attempt to push for a spot in the top six once again.

Maguire joined Leicester last year after spending three years of his career with Hull City, where he initially caught the eye of many Premier League clubs before eventually deciding to settle with signing for the former Premier League champions.
