TalkSPORT is today reporting that Manchester United are the only club to show an interest in Robert Lewandowski, that’s according to the player’s agent.
The future in of the Pole at Borussia Dortmund is in real doubt and there had even been talk of a move to German rivals Bayern Munich.
If Dortmund were to sell their most prized asset, they wouldn’t want to lose him to a Bundesliga side, so a move to United does look to be more likely.
Lewandowski’s agent said: “Many clubs follow the player, but really it is only specifically Manchester United.”
With four top-quality strikers already at the English Premier League-leaders though, they might have to get rid of someone in order to bring Lewandowski in.
He has been prolific for the German champions over the last couple of years and his performances in the Champions League have shown that he can score goals at the highest level.
With Dortmund struggling to compete for the Bundesliga title this campaign though, Lewandowski may be on the look-out for a big club, especially with his contract running out.
If a move happens in the summer, Old Trafford looks to be the most likely destination at the moment.
