Manchester United to turn attention to Lukaku

Manchester United are ready to make Romelu Lukaku their top summer transfer target, according to the Express.

Antonie Griezmann had been a priority though a potential deal for the Atletico Madrid man is now off the table, meaning manager Jose Mourinho is having to look elsewhere.

Andrea Belloti of Torino and Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata are also on their radar though Lukaku, who boasts seasons of Premier League experience, my prove to be a more viable option.

He has been in England for six years now, ever since Chelsea bought him from Anderlecht for around £10m.

He only made a handful of appearances for the Blues before being loaned out to West Bromwich Albion, where he scored seventeen goals in thirty-eight appearances and he has proven to be even more prolific since moving to Merseyside.

The twenty-four year old has netted eighty-seven goals in one hundred and sixty-six games for the Toffees, with twenty-five of those strikes coming in the league last season.
