Mane set for pay rise

The Mirror understands that Sadio Mane could be set for a pay rise at Liverpool following his Champions League heroics.

The Senegal international grabbed a superb hat-trick as Jurgen Klopp’s men thumped Porto on Wednesday evening and is set to be rewarded for his efforts despite having three years remaining on his current deal.

Mane is only two years into his current deal at Anfield though the market has inflated since he penned that £80,000-per-week deal.

In total, the twenty-five year old has racked up fifty-seven appearances in all competitions since leaving Southampton, scoring twenty-five goals.

He netted exactly the same amount across two seasons with the Saints while internationally he has been capped forty-eight times for his country, scoring fourteen times.

Next up for Mane is a home game against West Ham United when the Premier League returns next weekend, and he is priced at 41/10 to open the scoring.
