Stanislav Manolev has revealed he wants to remain at Fulham beyond the end of his loan stay.

The defender arrived on a temporary deal from PSV Eindhoven in January but is keen for the clubs to reach a permanent agreement.

“I’m really enjoying it – this is the best competition in the world,” Manolev told the Fulham Chronicle.

“I like London too, so of course I would like to stay, but it depends on the clubs.

“I still have one more year left at PSV, so the clubs have to talk.”

The Bulgaria international has made just four Premier League appearances since joining the club but says he has no issues with Martin Jol’s decisions.

“It’s important to play, it doesn’t matter where,” he added. “The coach makes the decision where he’s going to use me, so I don’t have any problems.”
