Marco Reus has Barcelona agreement

Catalan daily newspaper Sport has learned that Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus is keen on joining Barcelona.

The Germany international was ready to accept a summer switch to Camp Nou, but the recent transfer ban enforced on the Spanish side is likely to scupper the deal.

Barcelona officials are still hoping they will persuade FIFA to overturn the decision and snatch Reus from Borussia Dortmund, but they will also have to find an agreement with the German giants on the transfer fee.

According to Sport, the Catalans were ready to pay between €30m and €40m for the highly rated footballer.

Having seen several high-profile players leave Signal-Iduna Park of late, Reus is believed to be pondering his options, with Chelsea and PSG also keen on his services.

Borussia Dortmund could do nothing to avoid a 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie and they are 12/5 to win the return leg.
