With Arsenal looking satisfied with their movement in the transfer market this summer, AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli now looks set to remain at the San Siro this summer. The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in the Italian top division last season, making six assists.

He’s enjoyed a good return to his native country following his Manchester City exit, but was linked with a move back to the Premier League, with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly looking to take advantage of his disappointment in Milan’s poor 2013/14 season.

However, it now appears that Balotelli will remain at AC Milan for this season with no clubs making an official approach for his services. Arsenal have signed forward Alexis Sanchez this summer, and appear content with the players they now have in attack. Chelsea signed Diego Costa and don’t appear keen to sign another striker of any kind either, which means the Italian international could stay with Milan.
