Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta believes his club have shown they are capable of competing with anyone.
The Serie A champions beat Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday to secure top spot in Group E.
Marotta was pleased with his side’s performances in European club football’s elite competition.
“We’ve come through a tough group, winning the last two games against European champions Chelsea and the revelation of the tournament, Shakhtar,” Marotta told the club’s website.
“Our self-esteem has increased with each game and we’ve shown that we can compete with anyone.
“There’s no point playing the guessing game about the draw, but one thing that’s important is we have the return leg at home.”
Juventus will find out who their opponents are in the round of 16 during the draw in Nyon on December 20.
