Rafael Marquez has been acknowledged with the Liga MX goal of the round for his strike against Cruz Azul.

The Guadalajara striker edged Tijuana’s Fernando Arce to the accolade for his neat chest and volley in the 1-1 draw with Cruz Azul.

Arce’s brilliant free kick against Pumas was adjudged the second best goal while America’s Raul Jimenez’s side-footed shot after a team-mate’s clever step over was third best.

Jaguares’ Franco Arizala and San Luis’ Moises Velasco rounded out the top five with their Round 3 efforts.
