Marquinhos wants PSG exit

Brazilian defender Marquinhos is considering leaving Parc des Princes at the end of the current campaign, according to L’Equipe.

The talented footballer has grown increasingly frustrated by playing second fiddle to compatriots Thiago Silva and David Luiz, and he recently confirmed that he would evaluate his options at the end of the season.

L’Equipe claims that Marquinhos is almost certain to request a transfer next summer, as he hopes that the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona will reignite their interest in his services.

The 21-year-old has started a total of 45 league fixtures in two and a half years at Parc des Princes, but he has been often left on the bench in important games, and he is clearly not satisfied with the current status at the squad.

PSG will attempt to launch an assault on the elusive Champions League trophy this season, and they are 14/1 chance to lift the coveted title.
