Competition: French Ligue 1
Market: Marseille to win against Angers
Odds: 3/5 @ Bet 365

Marseille welcome Angers to the Stade Vélodrome in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon, and are big favourites to pick up all three points given their impressive start to the new season. Marseille could go top of the table with a win and will fancy their chances due to their one-sided head-to-head record.

Rudi García’s Marseille side are currently fifth in the French Ligue 1 with six points from their first two games, having beaten Dijon 3-0 at home and Nantes 1-0 away. OM could finish the weekend top of the table if they beat Angers, of whom they’ve beaten twice and drawn one if their last three head-to-heads.

As for the visitors, Angers are seventh in the division with four points form their two games, coming off the back of an opening day draw with Bordeaux and win over Amiens. Angers haven’t beaten Marseille at the Stade Vélodrome for two years and were heavily beaten 3-0 in their last meeting just five months ago.

As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 3/5 for Marseille to win against Angers on Sunday afternoon.
