Aston Villas manager Martin ONeill says that he will stop at nothing to try and keep his captain Gareth Barry at the club.
Gareth Barry has been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Liverpool at the end of the current season.
The midfielder who has made close to twenty appearances for England still has two years left of his contract.
He signed for the club ten years ago in 1998 and has been a loyal servant of the club and is due his testimonial soon.
When asked about the move Barry said that he was flattered by the interest shown in him but that he felt very much at home with Aston Villa.
He added that he was still enjoying his football with the club.
