Liverpool ace Javier Mascherano is looking forward to the Champions League last 16 clash with Real Madrid.
The former West Ham midfielder is impressed with Real’s defensive discipline under Juande Ramos at the Spanish giants.
He said: “Madrid are Madrid, and they are always hard to beat. The truth is that at the moment we have the same style of football.
“Madrid have improved defensively under Juande and they have become a much more solid side.
“Besides, from the back to the attack they have an excellent squad.
“It’s going to be a very tight knock-out stage, with a narrow result.â€Â
The Argentina skipper has been linked with moves to several Spanish clubs recently.
“I have no idea if a Spanish team want me,†Mascherano told As.
“I’m just focused on having a good season with Liverpool and then we will see.â€Â
