Memo Ochoa set for France return

Malaga shot-stopper Guillermo Ochoa could be moving back to French Ligue 1, FOX has moved to suggest.

The Mexico star joined los Boquerones on a free transfer last summer after impressing at the 2014 World Cup, but he surprisingly failed to nail down a regular starting berth.

Ochoa has not made a single appearance in club’s league campaign, only starting six Copa del Rey matches.

He has, nevertheless, remained the number one keeper for Mexico and the 2015 Gold Cup finals will serve as another opportunity for the 29-year-old to impress visiting scouts.

According to FOX, Ochoa has a long list of admirers in French Ligue 1, having spent three very successful years at Ajaccio, with Toulouse reportedly leading the chase for his services.

The Mexico hotshot is desperate to leave Malaga in search of first team football, but it is important to point out that he has another two years left on his current deal.
