Liverpool and Everton are hot on the trail of QPR midfielder Stephane M’Bia, France Football reports.

The 27-year-old was loaned to Sevilla after the Rangers had been relegated to the Championship and he has largely impressed at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

M’Bia has been earning rave reviews for his displays for los Rojiblancos, and he managed 3 goals and 4 assists in 18 league outings.

And with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, the Cameroon star is free to negotiate a Bosman deal with interested sides.

France Football understands that he is unlikely to remain with Sevilla, while he reportedly has offers from Everton, Liverpool and Inter Milan.

The same source has suggested that a Premier League return is on the cards, with M’Bia yet to choose between the two Merseyside clubs.

Newcastle in talks for Benfica starlet

Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo has learned that Newcastle are stepping up their efforts to sign Serbian midfielder Filip Djuricic from Benfica.

The Magpies had attempted to sign the talented footballer after cashing in on Yohan Cabaye, but their €12 million proposal was rejected in January.

Nevertheless, Newcastle look ready to make a fresh assault on the 22-year-old, having already met with the player’s agent last week in London.

The Eagles may decide to cash in on Djuricic in the summer given that he is currently not in the first team plans of boss Jorge Jesus.

Djuricic joined Benfica from Heerenveen with a reputation of Eredivisie star, but he has managed just nine league appearances for the club this term.

And having last started a league game back in November, the Serbia international is likely to be tempted by the proposal from English Premier League.

Isimat-Mirin on Lazio radar

Lazio are keeping close tabs on Monaco youngster Nicolas Isimat-Mirin, according to Le 10 Sport.

The Biancocelesti have secured the signature of Nantes forward Filip Djordjevic, but they look set to do some more shopping in France’s top flight.

Namely, Le 10 Sport has suggested Lazio are seriously considering a summer bid for Monaco stopper Nicolas Isimat-Mirin.

With Andre Dias and Giuseppe Biava both set to leave, the Biancocelesti plan to rejuvenate their back line and they see the 22-year-old as a perfect fit.

Isimat-Mirin only joined Monaco in the summer, but he has made just six league appearances with Eric Abidal, Ricardo Carvalho and Aymen Abdennour all in front of him in the pecking order.

His suitors Lazio face Livorno on the road at the weekend and they are priced at 6/5 to claim maximum points.
