Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists Argentine ace Lionel Messi is not for sale at any price.
Messi has been linked with world record bids from the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea in recent months.
“Messi is not for sale and that’s it,” said Laporta.
“It’s not a question of money. For me he’s the best player in the world and he feels comfortable at Barcelona.
“For us, Messi reflects Barca in a perfect way that makes young players see how we develop talent.
“Leo Messi came to Barca when he was 12 years old. He has a natural talent but we created the player you know and we are very proud of this.
“I think Leo is very happy in our city and in our country and so is his family.”

Should Messi leave what will happen? Barcelona will still be Barcelona. The pace at which this young man is playing is incredable and it takes a well settle minded person to do such. He needs to have taste of other clubs but is a choice to be made by him. I think he is comfortable with Barcelona for now. The dressing room has a good combination of players of his kind. He is what he is today because of Barcelona and he is also comfortable with his coleaques.

The man Leo Messi is unstoppable and knows why he is not leaving Barcelona. Chelsea do not be complesant for the draw in Spain by playing defensive football. Personally, i believe messi is the best one out there. with his style of play which is unique and threatning to oppenents. he is not your average player, coming from a football fanatic family he grew up loving the game, but with a major obstacle put in his way kinda like myself. he has a hormone deficiency which prevents him from growing any taller. though, barcelona was the only team that showed any interest in him at the age of 12! barca was willing to pay for all medical needs if he was willing to move barcelona, spain. therefore; messi feel the need to stay at with barca because he feels like he owes them so much more than a couple of goals. he wants to meke barca the best team there out there.
even though, there is no amount of money for messi because he is not in it for that. as he has proven to us by not going to others clubs which are willing to offer millions. without a doubt messi to me is an odol i look up to him as a player and as a person off the field. he is a great example to all the small players that are not big like myself, heart, skill, and speed are all you need. mesi will not beat you with fancy footwork and all this over rated moves. he will simply beat you one on one pure speed and ball control along with pin-point accuracy! to me that defines a great player, someone who gives it there all and doesnt try to cheat the refs by faking injuries. by far messi is the most telented with his unique style of play….VIVA LA BARCA!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it comes to bein the best in the world, messi is only beaten by Portugals Ronaldo. Ronaldo could be in it for the money, unlike Messi, but he can make up 4 that with his undescribable footwork(which Messi has that too but its primarily on dribblin)
when it comes down to it: messi is a shade less skillful then Roando but they should both stay at their clubs. thats where their ( immensely calibered) football should be; Messi at fcb, and Ronaldo at MUFC.

While I am a die hard ManU fan, I have been fascinated by messi’s and barca’s wonderful playing skills, and though I aint happy that they beat my team, I beleive they were just the better team of the day and that while ManU gave a pretty good fight, they didnt give enough… but there is still next year, even if Ronny left.
When it comes to Messi, I believe he will stay at barca, forever, there aint no price on his head, because he is a living, breathing example of Barca’s might.

Messi is football’s saint…sorry Kaka – you’re wife is just too hot to believe you are a saint too (lol)….Messi is just outstanding with his game and so humble at the same time…his loyalty is clearly torn between Barca and Argentina, but both sides know this and do what they can to accommodate for him.
