Competition: Premier League
Market: Middlesbrough and Sunderland to draw
Odds: 12/5 @ Bet 365

Middlesbrough welcome Sunderland to the Riverside Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday night, in a game that could all but settle their respective fates this season. Both occupying places in the bottom-three of the division, it’s do-or-die for Boro and the Black Cats, but their lack of goals of late could lead to a stalemate this week.

Steve Agnew’s Middlesbrough side are currently 19th in the Premier League table with 24 points from 33 games this season, coming off the back of three defeats and a draw from their last four outings. Boro have gone 16 games without a win ahead of Wednesday’s clash, and given they lost their last outing 4-0 to Bournemouth, it’s hard to see a response coming to give them half a chance of survival.

As for the visitors, David Moyes’ Sunderland side find themselves rock bottom of the division with 21 points from 32 games, having lost three and drawn one of their last four also. The Black Cats have lost five of their last six games away from home and have gone eight without victory overall.

With Boro and Sunderland averaging around 0.75 goals between them this season, Bet 365 are giving odds of 12/5 for Wednesday’s clash to finish in a stalemate.
