Egyptian striker Mido admits he is happy to seal his loan switch from Middlesbrough to Wigan Athletic.
Mido will stay with the Latics until the end of season, after failing to settle at Middlesbrough.
“I was far from being happy at Boro,” the 25-year-old is quoted as saying in the Sunday Mirror.
“The situation of the club was very poor due to the bad results, and this atmosphere allowed more problems to surface.
“I started feeling I need to be in another place to feel happy again. For a month and a half, I didn’t feel happy to train at Boro because of the many problems there.
“I started to feel happy again when I attended my first training session with Wigan on Friday.”
