(GSM) – Catania boss Sinisa Mihajlovic admits he wants to eventually lead Internazionale to the title.

Mihajlovic is making a name for himself as a coach in the Italian game after his heroics at the Massimino this season.

Hired as a replacement for Gianluca Atzori mid-term, he’s taken the relegation threatened outfit to within touching distance of survival.

“What would I do if a big club came calling? I still have a year left on my contract here and it is my plan to remain,” he noted.

“The objective for next season would then be to qualify for the Europa League when you consider what results we have achieved here.”

“But my dream would be Inter, they would undoubtedly be the maximum for me. I don’t know when but I want to get there one day.”

“My other coaching objectives are to take charge of Red Star Belgrade and the Serbian national side,” he explained.

Catania are currently joint 12th in the table, seven points clear of the drop zone.

Mihajlovic, who assisted Roberto Mancini on the Inter bench, went into the coaching sector last season but was sacked by Bologna.

As a player, he performed for Red Star, Roma, Sampdoria, Lazio and Inter.
