Milan coach Leonardo has dropped Ronaldinho from his starting eleven that will take on Olympique Marseille tonight. The Brazilian playmaker will start the first game of the Champions League campaign 2009/10 from the bench.

Clarence Seedorf replaces Ronaldinho while Andrea Pirlo returns to the starting lineup after he was benched against Livorno, last Saturday (0-0).

“The team lost its balance due to Ronaldinho`s playing style,” Leonardo explained.

“In modern football the balance of the team is fundamental. The way we play may change but a good organization on the pitch its what`s most important to me.”
