Milan join chase for Fabregas

AC Milan are weighing up summer move for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Rossoneri midfield is set to undergo serious changes in the summer and club officials believe the arrival of the Spanish playmaker would be a breath of fresh air.

Milan chiefs hope Mathieu Flamini can persuade his former teammate to join him at San Siro and become part of an ambitious project.

Cesc Fabregas returned to Barcelona in the summer of 2011 after spending eight years at Arsenal, but he has failed to nail down a regular starting berth at Camp Nou.

In spite of scoring goals on regular basis, the Spaniard has failed to impress the pundits and fans alike, and it appears that he could be sold in the summer transfer window.

Since joining Barcelona from Arsenal, Fabregas has scored 19 goals in 56 La Liga fixtures, while netting just two times in 17 Champions League appearances.
