Milan make bumper offer for Lavezzi

Milan have made a €20 million offer for Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to Il Roma.

The Rossoneri have reportedly sent a formal offer to Napoli for the Argentina international, hoping to clinch the deal before the season is over.

Milan are also prepared to hand Lavezzi a significant pay rise if Napoli accept the offer. The Argentine is currently earning €1.4 million per season at San Paolo.

The fact that Lavezzi recently bought an apartment in Milan hints that he may have been in contact with the Rossoneri chiefs, but we are yet to see if Napoli will be prepared to sell one of their most prized assets.

The Partenopei reportedly want €27 million for their star player, meaning that Milan could make one of their own players a part of the deal so as to match Napoli’s valuation of the player.
