Milan rekindle interest in Jackson Martinez

AC Milan are set to reignite their interest in FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez, Tuttosport has suggested.

The Rossoneri have just received a major boost to club’s finances having signed a new five-year deal with Emirates that will see them earn between €85m and €100m.

As a result, AC Milan chiefs aim to invest a considerable amount of cash into new players and they seem ready to return for FC Porto’s Jackson Martinez.

The Rossoneri have been impressed with the Colombian striker who has a proven goalscoring record and they hope to sign him for some €30 million.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are also believed to be keen, but AC Milan finally have enough funds to compete with the Premier League sides.

Jackson Martinez, 28, has been in scintillating form ever since he joined the Dragons from Chiapas, notching 54 goals in 71 league outings.

After seeing off Udinese to climb to sixth in Serie A, AC Milan are 11/8 to defeat high-flying Genoa on the road.
