Milan rivals battle for Kondogbia

Inter Milan and AC Milan are locked in the battle for Monaco star Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to Tuttosport.

Both clubs are desperate to reinforce the midfield department in the summer transfer window and it looks as though the Frenchman has become their mutual target.

The Nerazzurri and Rossoneri officials are now trying to persuade the player’s agents that his client would be better off joining them and not their local rivals, meaning this could prove to be a very interesting transfer story.

Kondogbia, 22, had a somewhat slow start to his career at Monaco after impressing in Spanish La Liga, but his performances from last season showed why he was considered one of Europe’s most talented footballers.

Everything suggests the France international will again be moving clubs this summer, and he will have an important decision to make with both Inter Milan and AC Milan not exactly performing up to their potential of late.
