Milan rivals battle for Martin Caceres

Tuttosport has learned that Inter Milan and AC Milan are vying for the signature of Juventus defender Martin Caceres.

The Uruguayan is no longer in the first team plans of the Bianconeri coach Max Allegri and chances are he will be offloaded in January.

Considering that his deal in Turin is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, Juventus will be perfectly happy to sell this winter.

According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan and AC Milan have emerged as the favourites for his signature as the Milan rivals are in the market for defensive reinforcements.

And given that Caceres can cover any position in the back line, it is hardly surprising the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri are keen on his services.

Inter Milan currently lead the chase in Italian Serie A in spite of the derby loss to Lazio and they are available at 7/1 to lift the coveted trophy.
