Milan step up chase for talented keeper

AC Milan are preparing an official offer for Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Rossoneri have been closely following the talented keeper this season and they are ready to step up their interest.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Milan are prepared to offer around €5 million for 50% of the player’s contract.

They are eager to complete the co-ownership deal in January transfer window, but the youngster would probably arrive at San Siro at the end of the season.

Perin is currently on loan at Pescara, where he has enjoyed some memorable performances this season.

After spending last season on loan at Padova, the 19-year-old has made ten Serie A appearances for Pescara this term.

Perin is currently a member of Italy Under-21 side, having made a debut in the 4-2 defeat to Republic of Ireland last September.
