(GSM) – Diego Milito’s agent has played down rumours of a transfer for his client. Fernando Hidalgo said the Internazionale striker will be happy to play for the new coach at the Giuseppe Meazza, Rafael Benitez.

Hidalgo admits Milito is unsettled as he is seeking an improvement on his current deal.

He told Fcinter1908: “It’s not a problem with Jose Mourinho leaving. Diego has always worked well with all his coaches, and is happy to work also with Benitez.

“The point is that there must be an improvement in the player’s contract of this level and Inter have to do an assessment on that.

“I can say that a longer contract with higher figure would calm the player and he would end his career at Inter.”
