Monaco back in for German starlet

Le 10 Sport is reporting that Monaco are readying a fresh assault on Stuttgart centre-back Antonio Rudiger.

The Principality club are on the lookout for a new central defender and they appear to have set their sights on the Germany international.

Despite recently having a €15 million bid rejected for his services, Monaco are set to return with a new offer and try to secure the player’s signature.

According to Le 10 Sport, PSG and Bayern Munich are also keen, but the Stade Louis II outfit appear to be leading the chase at the moment.

Antonio Rudiger is the product of Stuttgart’s youth academy and he has already made 47 Bundesliga appearances for the Swabians.

He should be in the starting line-up when the Swabians take on Borussia M’gladbach on the road on 24th August at the start of their Bundesliga campaign, with away win paying 12/5 at the moment.
