Italian World Cup winner, Fabio Cannavaro, might leave Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer.
The 34-year old veteran is being chased by French outfit Monaco, and they want a big-name signing for next season.
Cannavaro is a former World Player of the Year, joined Real Madrid from Juventus in 2006. During his time in Spain, he has won the Spanish league title twice, and would be considered a big-name signing for any club in the world.
The Italian veteran’s agent, Gaetano Fedele, is set to fly to Madrid next week for talks over the defender’s future.
AS Monaco currenly lie 12th in the French league with one game to play.
